Read before following any of these instructions listed here: If your SmartBOL support contract has expired, follow these instructions at your own risk. SmartBOL Support does not provide any support without an active support contract. Please refer to support policies at www.smartbol.com/support.htm for support policies.

Important Notes:

  • Each machine, SmartBOL software is installed on, must be licensed. Refer to SmartBOL licensing policy here.

  • If SmartBOL Classic or Enterprise is already installed on the machine, backup data files from data folder and uninstall SmartBOL.

  • If you are upgrading to newer version, make sure that your support contract is active. Newer version of SmartBOL may not work with older keys. In addition, SmartBOL will upgrade your data files and may make them unusable with your earlier version.

  • QuickBooks Interface on Terminal Server: Install SmartBOL from console otherwise it will not work with QuickBooks.
